Parascript Partnership

Parascript ICR in Taskmaster Enables Natural Handwriting Capture

Datacap and Parascript have entered into a strategic relationship, providing Taskmaster users access to Parascript's unique Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR) for natural and cursive handwriting. Now forms that feature unconstrained handwriting, including subscriptions, change of address forms, invoices, surveys, and applications, can be automatically captured, eliminating tedious and costly manual data entry.

Already, both the Baltimore Sun and TV Guide have selected Taskmaster with Parascript's Natural Handwriting RecognitionTM (NHR) to help them process handwriting on subscriptions. A brief demonstration of the Baltimore Sun application can be viewed in a recent Webinar recording, available on the Datacap website. Click here to view.

Parascript recognition engines help capture and interpret more than 250 million documents a day for such diverse industries as banking and financial services, commercial mail and postal agencies, insurance and healthcare, and the circulation management and publishing industries. Parascript was the first to solve the cursive handwriting puzzle and has been a global leader in recognition technology for more than a decade.

Parascript recognition is currently available for customers using Taskmaster 6.5. For more information about Parascript, visit www.parascript.com.
