Support for all Production Scanners
Taskmaster supports a wide variety of document scanners, including Bowe Bell + Howell, Canon, Fujitsu, IBML, Kodak, Panasonic, Visioneer and more at their optimum performance. Datacap QA tests all scanners with Datacap software to assure that Taskmaster drives scanners at fully rated speeds. Taskmaster supports color scanning, grayscale and bitonal (black and white) scanning. You can also use one of the new Multi-Function Peripherals (MFP) with Taskmaster. These combine a copy machine, scanner and fax machine and can be sufficient for document image capture at appropriate volumes.
Support for all Scanning Interfaces
Isis, Twain and Kofax Adrenaline are all supported by Datacap Taskmaster 7.5.
Fax Server Support with Virtual Scanning
Your documents arriving via fax server are also supported as Taskmaster can retrieve images from a fax server. You can also save disk storage space as Taskmaster can convert these fax images from the fax Group 3 compression to the more efficient Group 4 TIFF standard.
Image Files on Disk or Tape
If you have document image files on CD or tape, Taskmaster can perform a Virtual Scan for efficient processing.
